Robert
Sixteen years on the fire truck, now on the job site.
Robert Prevatt III moved to Brunswick County as a teenager in 2001 and graduated from West Brunswick in 2006. He welcomed his daughter Amaya in 2010. In 2020 he met his girlfriend Sarah, and in 2022 they welcomed their son Robert IV.
Robert was a volunteer and paid firefighter for multiple fire departments throughout Brunswick County, from his teenage years into adulthood, for 16 years. He also has an extensive background in heavy equipment operation. Following a devastating knee injury in 2020 and subsequent surgeries in 2021, Robert and Sarah formed the brainchild of what would become A & R4 Landscaping.
Robert is the main face of the company and the one who handles all estimates, material purchasing and customer relations, and oversees the work being completed by his crew.
Sarah
The backbone you never see on a job site.
Sarah moved to Brunswick County in 2015 and has a long background in medical and public service. She currently works for the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office as a 9-1-1 telecommunicator, serving our community in its greatest time of need.
You may never see Sarah on a job site, but she is a large part of the backbone of A & R4 Landscaping, handling the financial and accounting side of the business in the background.
The name
What does A & R4 stand for?
Many people have asked what A & R4 stands for. After numerous options, discussions and back and forth, we decided on the one name that is near and dear to Robert's heart and would never change. We thought, why not name it after the kids? And that is how A & R4 was born. The A is for his daughter and the R4 is for his son.
What started out as a simple mowing company doing neighbors' yards has grown into a multifaceted company doing almost anything related to residential and commercial properties. Robert is still the one to answer every phone call, text and email. If a customer has a question, you deal directly with the owner of the company, never a secretary or job foreman.
We believe in quality, affordable work done the right way, the first time. You aren't paying a large corporation that subcontracts its work. You're paying a family who lives in your area and gives back to their community. The way it used to be, and the way it should be.
